salute,
just some weeks ago after a long periode of rain and snow we went to hintertux for one day riding that smooth park up there. aron didn´t get the right speed and cracked his board quite fast, so he was the smoking assistent of freddy behind the cam.. weird nice day.

after riding we went to hanne´s street art party at tivoli roundabout, was fun there

we gonna go to val senales and later to zermatt in july, seems to be really nice there as well.


right now summer is back as never before and assessment time at university...

ROOF DINNER

the last three weeks have been so depressing.lots of rain, clouds and freezin cold temperatures. might that be a never ending story.. no, good weather came back, just for couple days though but it was so cool. swimming, lots of sports and dinner at our roof.so sick. we have to do that again. and now it´s cold again.......

Saas Fee April/May Powderaction

Saas Fee was deffinatly the sickest place in europe in the end of the season.
With tones of powder comming down in the end of april we got plenty of possibilitys to build and shot.
Friedl and me shot the first week with our filmer taupi.
We had to fight with bad weather the first days but then it cleared the shit out of it and we got some nice days with fresh pow.
After Friedl and Taupi left I joined the crew of Fredi Kalbermatten , Aaron Hooper, Wyatt Stasinos and Doran Layborn.
We pretty much got out of bed every day around 5.30 in the morning and spending every day up there to build booters and to ride all kinds of glacierdrops and natural stuff.
Bad weather was allways a daily factor but with fredi`s eye for the mountain we managed to shoot in pretty much every weather conditions.
The boys from colorado around wyatt and doran where allways super on fire and showed big balls on everything we`ve been hitting and fredi landed pretty much every trick he pulled out.
Until a couple of days ago we still went up everyday and there is lots off pow on top of saas fee.
Thanks to Aaaron Hooper and all the guys for working so hard everyday to get good shots.
It`s been such a fun time with hell crazy partys and so much progressive riding.
Winter is never over :) ...in and out !!!!

Gap Jump Session in Thyon

After one week of riding pow in Saas Fee we went for a daytrip to Thyon in the next valley.
On our arrival the Central Park in Thyon presented a pretty nice Gap Jump that was waiting to get destroyed.
And thats what we did !
After the first overshoot from Alessandro we started to bring our tricks over the Gap.
I had the best feeling doing a bs Rodeo 7 right into the sweetspot.
Pretty sick was Alessandro`s cab 1080 nosegrab into the flatpart of the landing !
All in one a nice springday and now we ´re heading back to Saas Fee for more powder.

AVALANCE

hello,
last days we have been at kühtai to get the last powder of the season and some quateraction on some windlips.
first day I went there just by my own and gopro cam. it was such an epic day. I didnt expect powder at all, what a success!! at the end of the day I found one big run, untracked and in good condition I thought. So I called a friend and the next day we went there to climb for half an our to the top of the mountain. I already did thay run couple years ago, so I tought it could be quite safe, but it wasnt. We checked our Pieps and Marx dropped into the run first with gopro cam. in the middle he went on the side to film me coming down. So I dropped, did a backsideturn and heard while doing a fronsidespray the snow cracking around me. All the snow was just into small pieces! Trust me, you never want to have that feeling, I was so scared but did the right thing in that moment. I push my edge into the snow and crossed the slope. As you can see on the picture, the dimension of that avalance was big. Nothing happend to Marx and me!
So we are happy still to be alive.
That showed me once again, that I have to take even more attention to the current snow condition.

me again,
just one day after coming back from stylesession in kleinwalsertal we decided to go to levanto in italy trying to get the first waves that year. it sounds weird, one day powder next day waves...so almost 10 people made it to the small village in nothern italy. It was such a nice time there. we had 4 days gipsylife, just eating on parking spaces and sleeping under bridges! so much fun. and for sure the first waves that year. they were changing from double-head to tiny!so crazy..

hope that it´s gonna be the same condition like that the next weeks again...these days just showed us that surfing isn´t comparable with any other boardsports. it´s the best at all!

Playboardstylesession

hello,
aron,friedl and me were at the Playboard-Stylesession last week. It was all around good time there with sauna, different wheather conditions and hours of building step-up kickers. Here some random shots while aron is sleeping with a pillow on his head, too much snorring.

Powderdays in April ;)

After one season of begging for the real pow, suddenly it just came out of nowhere. We were shooting at a drop down kicker with a just to pad down windlip. Besides I just wanted to go for a little spray on this one and it turned out to be a deep experience ;) Cheers Friedl
